What you'll need to have

You have 6 months or more of formal or informal leadership experience in retail, logistics
You are tech savvy
You are a total peopleperson and can strike up a conversation easily and build a good rapport with your team, Leadership and suppliers
Your coaching style can be summed up like this: open door, empowering, strategic and supportive. You believe that leadership is a collective activity where we all have something to learn from each other.
You have amazing attention for details and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face
Experience handling machinery found in a logistics setting is an asset but not necessity

What you'll be doing day to day

Support your IKEA Leadership team with leading and coaching the team; creating an inspiring and motivating environment where people are continuously developed including longterm competence building, succession planning and diversity and inclusion
Responsible for the safety of coworkers and the working conditions of the workplace and securing that IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are being followed
Coordinate with other Departments to make on site decisions
Ensure the Sustainability agenda for your area is implemented and met
Support coworkers and with other tasks as needed
