Description
We are currently searching for reliable associates that are comfortable working in a full-line chemical distribution warehouse.


Location:
Kennedy and Steeles (Brampton)


Shift:6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm


Pay:
$24.00 per hour


RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected individuals will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Supporting training staff with all duties until fully trained to perform tasks alone
  • Verify labels
  • Inspecting product for any issues
  • Weighing product and verifying weight prior to labeling
  • Affix labels to barrels and totes
  • Operating Steam machine to remove labels
  • Taking product samples for lab analysis
  • Cleaning warehouse(moping, sweeping, wiping down rails)
  • Work with RF scanner, barcoding, printing, and labeling equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (training provided)
  • Strapping skids experience an asset (all manual no machinery)

Additional Details:


  • Must be capable of working in both cold and hot environments as chemicals must be stored at certain temperatures.
  • No phones are permitted on the warehouse floor (no acceptations)
  • Must be able to work in a team (especially for training)
  • Capable of working outdoors for some tasks

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must have a clear criminal record
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting
  • Experience in the chemical industry an asset but not mandatory
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable and hard working with an excellent personality and attention to detail
  • Capable of standing 75% of the day
  • Must be computer literate
  • Capable of basic math/measurements
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR LONG TERM, FULL-TIME WORK (812 hour shifts)

Salary:
$24.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
