    MISSION


    Negotiate and conclude the best agreements and purchase orders with our suppliers based mainly in Asia by considering quality, price, delivery time, transport costs and payment terms.


    DESCRIPTION


    Negotiate, conclude and track purchase orders with suppliers according to the recommendations for quantities to purchase provided by the purchasing planner.

    Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers.

    Negotiate each order on all possible purchasing parameters: quality, price, delivery times, payment terms, etc.

    Request quotes from different suppliers, analyze them and make purchases.

    Know most product specificities to be able to make the best possible decisions.

    Work in collaboration with the product team.

    Resolve various disputes with suppliers regarding non-compliant orders (quantity, product, price, packaging, etc.).

    Plan, organize and manage various overseas trips regarding visits to suppliers, trade fairs, etc.


    Given the time difference with suppliers, make sure to be available to schedule discussions with them (early morning or late evening).

    TO JOIN OUR TEAM YOU NEED
    Bachelor's degree in administration - specialized in procurement or related field.

    1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing and importing.

    Good knowledge of trade with China (culture, region, etc.).

    Experience in the distribution field (an asset).


    Excel:
    advanced level.

    Knowledge of automobile parts (an asset).

    Due to the need to communicate in writing and orally with unilingual Mandarin-speaking, English-speaking and/or French-speaking employees:


    Mastery of Mandarin:
    expert level.


    Fluency in English:
    advanced level.


    Fluency in French:
    intermediate level.


    REQUIRED PROFILE
    Ability to work with the logic of data.

    Have excellent negotiation skills and good political sense.
