Natures Path has been one of Canada's Top Employers for the last several years Now, located in Tilbury, Delta, our 24/7 Que Pasa facility is currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our amazing team.


The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving raw materials, finished goods, maintenance supplies as required and utilize IFS inventory system for all receiving activities in addition to supporting the production lines as needed.

Reliability and regular attendance are paramount.


Regular Morning Shift Schedule (after training)

  • 06:30 PM 02:30 PM, 8 hours

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operating the forklift safely and efficiently by: Operating the forklift in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations.
  • Performing safety checks on the forklift; logging and reporting any safety discrepancies
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for all team members and making team members aware of any equipment or personnel safety issues immediately.
  • Following all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out program.
  • Ensuring continuous production operation of packaging lines and following Nature's Path's safety, quality and production procedures.
  • Ensuring all proper paperwork and materials are used, including pallets, slip sheets, WIP paperwork, and finished skid labeling paperwork is documented accordingly.
  • Coordinating with Quality Assurance to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards.
  • Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives as set forth by management.
  • Ensuring that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.
  • Maintaining an accurate and detailed operator's log.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Preferred 12 years in food manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of forklift and standup forklift experience is a must
  • Production experience preferred
  • Proven problem solving ability with mechanical understanding of machinery
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math and computer skills desirable

  • Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Food industry: 1 year (preferred)
  • Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
