Wild Heart Children's Centre (WHCC) is a not-for-profit early learning program whose mission is to create environments of vitality where people are connected and engaged in joyful discovery.

Educators are responsible for developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating curriculum for children 12 months to 5 years and/or 5 years to 12 years, with social and emotional well-being as the foundation.

Supported child care for a 6-year-old child with complex behavioural needs.

This educator must have proven skills:
- in adaptive regulation strategies
- supporting children in childcare settings
- co-planning with parents
- building personalized plans for regulation, independence and social skills

Float Staff.
This educator must have proven skills:

- moving between classrooms
- knowledge and strategies for working with children of all ages
- building respectful partnerships with team
- confidence and willingness to jump in

Hours will vary between 7am and 530pm. We engage in paid professional reflection twice monthly on Mondays from 530pm to 7pm. The hourly wage for this position is $25.28 per hour (based on level three certification and including wage top-up).

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Educator Level 2 certification is required; Level 3 is preferred
Police Information Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check
Child Intervention Record Check
First Aid/CPR Certificate
