Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
• Process returns and exchanges following company policies
• Promote store loyalty programs and encourage customers to sign up
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
• Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves as needed

Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
• Proficient in cashiering procedures, including handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments
• Knowledge of phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone
• Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change accurately
• Familiarity with technical sales to provide product recommendations based on customer needs
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Ability to conduct product demonstrations confidently and effectively
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly checkout area

$17.40-$18.00 per hour
