We're looking at bringing in a second groomer to our Grooming shop of 25 years.

If you have previous grooming experience either from school or a salon please send us your resume.

Our hours and days are flexible for a new groomer but typically we work Monday to Friday and our shop hours are 8:30 to 3 pm.

Our grooming staff come in around 9 to 9:30 and leave by 3 pm.

We have a bather and blow dryer and the owner handles all front of house work as well as being a groomer, so the job would be strictly doggie hair cuts.

Responsibilities:

• Groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
• Trim nails and clean ears
• Style pets' fur using appropriate techniques and tools
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets during grooming sessions
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
• Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and grooming skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing
