Our operations team is growing, we are looking for a packaging equipment technician/operator to join the team and improve efficiencies.
Responsibilities_
- Set up and operation of packaging equipment with onboard robotics
- Label and assemble all Prollenium products, following strict procedures for quality, accuracy and safety
- Ensuring proper lot number and expiry date of product to satisfy customer order
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment on the Marchesini packaging line
- Provide necessary documentation and data to the Packaging Supervisor/Manager
- Inspect the quality of the packaged products prior to passing the documentation to the Quality department
- Comply with ISO 13485 standards and GMP
- Receipt and inspection of supplies for assembly of all Prollenium products and maintain inventory of components during production
- Accurately complete the Manufacturing Batch Production SOPs as per GMP procedures
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills/Qualifications_
- Proven knowledge of, and experience with, packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with mediumhigh output is required
- Proven knowledge of, and experience with packaging automation and robotics
- Excellent handeye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to work and communicate with others professionally and effectively, in a teamoriented environment
- Knowledge of, and experience with GMP and ISO
- Physically able and willing to repeatedly lift up to 30 lbs
Required Experience_
- 2+ years of experience with packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with mediumhigh output
- 2+ years medium high speed equipment automation and robotics setup and maintenance
- 2+ years experience in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environment
Education_
- Technical Diploma-Electrical or Electronic Engineering
