Our operations team is growing, we are looking for a packaging equipment technician/operator to join the team and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities_

  • Set up and operation of packaging equipment with onboard robotics
  • Label and assemble all Prollenium products, following strict procedures for quality, accuracy and safety
  • Ensuring proper lot number and expiry date of product to satisfy customer order
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment on the Marchesini packaging line
  • Provide necessary documentation and data to the Packaging Supervisor/Manager
  • Inspect the quality of the packaged products prior to passing the documentation to the Quality department
  • Comply with ISO 13485 standards and GMP
  • Receipt and inspection of supplies for assembly of all Prollenium products and maintain inventory of components during production
  • Accurately complete the Manufacturing Batch Production SOPs as per GMP procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Skills/Qualifications_

  • Proven knowledge of, and experience with, packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with mediumhigh output is required
  • Proven knowledge of, and experience with packaging automation and robotics
  • Excellent handeye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work and communicate with others professionally and effectively, in a teamoriented environment
  • Knowledge of, and experience with GMP and ISO
  • Physically able and willing to repeatedly lift up to 30 lbs

Required Experience_

  • 2+ years of experience with packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with mediumhigh output
  • 2+ years medium high speed equipment automation and robotics setup and maintenance
  • 2+ years experience in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environment

Education_

  • Technical Diploma-Electrical or Electronic Engineering
