Minimum one year floral design experience is an asset. Retail experience a definite requirement.

Our shop is in need of a team player to bring ideas and themes to life.

You will be able to learn alongside our master florist to develop arranging skills and branch out to bring attention to your own compositions.

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with customers as well as on our corporate accounts to make arrangements for holidays, special occasions and home décor.

This position can let you explore your own creative side while working with a variety of flowers, plants and other floral fillers to make any day a bit more memorable.

Responsibilities:

• Order and maintain supply of fresh flowers, greenery, potted plants, and decorative items
• Take orders in person, over the phone, and from the website
• Receive and direct product shipments
• Process incoming flowers
• Maintain store and arrange displays in an aesthetic and pleasing way to encourage sales
• Provide direct customer service on the sales floor or over the phone
• Handle all required transactions via POS system

We'd Love to Hear from People With:

• 1+ years of floral design experience
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate a POS system
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
• You are dependable and able to work Saturdays and be available at floral peak periods

It would be great if you also have:

• Floral design experience
• Experience using TELEFLORA POS systems
• Knowledge of TELEFLORA codified products

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$16.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay
