The plant engineer supports maintenance production and engineering to improve equipment reliability reduce failures increase uptime and enhance machine safety.Functional responsibilities include customer account management optimize EAM software participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program analyze critical failures identify critical parts manage spare parts inventory plan shutdowns and major maintenance design mechanical parts update plant drawings update lockout procedures participate in 5S activities increase safety ensure machine compliance.
Personal development includes participating in conferences training or other activities applying quality and food safety policy.
