Mathematics Tutor - Halifax, Canada - The Halifax Helpers

Description

HRCE, SchoolsPlus and The Halifax Helpers are seeking a current or past Math teacher or coach to run workshops for parents of elementary-aged students in the "new way of math" with the goal of improving the ability of parents to aid their children with math homework.

A teaching degree is required with a good understanding of the Nova Scotia Math Curriculum in Elementary Schools, Grades P-5.

Time commitment will be one hour per week from February 2023 to April 2023 approximately. Sessions will be virtual. The rate of pay is $25/hour.
