Propel Sandoz to the 1st place on the podium top spot by playing an expert role in the Supply Planning group.

As a member of the Supply Chain, this role is essential to ensure availability of the products while meeting the changing market needs.


Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure product availability: Plan product purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third parties) based on the level of service targeted for the portfolio in line with the Global objectives. Do follow ups with the suppliers and execute the purchasing plan.
  • Analyze and validate the potential shortage report, the backorder report and expiry dates. Management of the weekly ''Customer Protect'' meeting and monitoring of resulting actions.
  • Interact with the Supply chain and commercial groups to understand different unforeseen demand factors and share opportunities or impacts on the supply. Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities.
  • Participate in Life cycle management projects in order to operationalize various changes (manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc.). Based on product knowledge and frequent communications with suppliers, the project manager analyses and proposes improvements projects to the LCM team.
  • Prepare business reviews (S&OP) with suppliers in order to present market realities and ensure Canada's prioritization. Following these updates. Prepare internal communication to share with senior management and propose solutions.

Minimum Requirements

What you need for this role:

  • Bachelor of Administration, supply chain profile
  • 58 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a purchasing team
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • Autonomy
  • Decisionmaking capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Mastery of the use of SAP and/or APO, an asset
  • Resultsoriented and good ability to manage time
  • Bilingualism: English and French spoken and written.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
