Northern Airports and Marine Operations (NAMO) of Manitoba Infrastructure is seeking an innovative and highly motivated individual to join its team as a Compliance Administrator.

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be willing to travel within Province by ground, water and air transportation.
- Must be wiling to travel and stay overnight in remote worksites within the province.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers licence.
- Must be willing to travel in small aircraft and overnight in remote Northern locations.
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in Compliance Administration or related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience working in a compliance/regulatory environment related to Transport Canada.
- Experience preparing and maintaining technical and executive reports relative to the compliance functions.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding Indigenous culture and values.
- Experience in research, analysis, evaluation, and compliance development in relation to Transport Canada regulatory compliance.
- Strong written communication skills with experience developing and writing ministerial correspondence and submissions for senior level management.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Acts and applicable regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Duties:
The Compliance Administrator is a specialized position which is responsible for ensuring that all northern airport and marine operations under provincial jurisdiction are compliant with the respective Transport Canada (TC) "Aeronautics Act" and Canada Shipping Act (CSA)" and their associated respective regulations and standards.
