Machine Operators/weekend Shift - Brampton, Canada - Woodlore International Inc

Woodlore is looking for machine operators for the IMA 4.0 line, working on state of the art machinery to grow with the company.

Machine experience an asset. Training provided.

We are looking for motivated self-starters for our weekend shift. Steady shift of 12 hours per day (24 hours) but we will pay 6 hours as a premium. There is a possibility to work 10 hours more per week to have a continuous 40-hour work week.

• Establish good communication with supervisor and coworkers
• Perform a prestart safety check before starting production to ensure all emergency stops, trip wires and components of the machine are in working order
• Check part size
• Check the compatibility of tools in the head of machine, to the part being run
• Maintain Woodlore quality standards and adhere to ISO9001 guidelines
• Follow information on cart tags and stickers
• Record and reorder replacement parts
• Check safety switches before operating machine
• Test the machine before starting production
• Run a test piece to ensure proper machine setup
• Communicate to the helper/receiver, goals to complete during the shift
• Inform incoming operator of any machine problems at shift change

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machines an asset
• Able to work independently and well organized
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Be able to read a variety of measuring devices

Salary:
$16.00-$25.00 per hour
