Responsibilities:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our construction sites.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Managing and supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Coordinating and scheduling work activities, including assigning tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.

Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing timely solutions to mitigate risks.

Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and addressing any deficiencies promptly.

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Managing the procurement of construction materials and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.

Enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among the construction team.

Training and mentoring construction personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Maintaining accurate documentation of construction activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and equipment logs.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Solid understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on-site.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with construction management software.

Ready, willing and able to travel to job sites around the Comox Valley and beyond

Must be able to commit to full time employment

Ability to work shifts and extended hours if required to meet deadlines and schedules
