As a Senior Project Manager within the Information Security Delivery Directorate, your responsibilities will include the coordination of Information Security Program projects as well as other projects related to the Information Security sector.


Responsibilities:


  • Carry out all project management activities of assigned mandates, including those with regular strategic corporate objectives, high visibility major deliverables, and a level of complexity requiring increased leadership and political acumen.
  • Monitor and coordinate Information Security program projects by working closely with the Sector Portfolio Manager and Project Managers.
  • Adapt your delivery to often multimode delivery contexts (i.e. with agile or Lean-Agile transformation teams, with or without external suppliers or integrators or sometimes in part in a more traditional way by distinguishing yourself with an ability to adapt and an assertive enthusiasm.
  • Organize, synchronize and facilitate planning, followup and feedback events that involve multiple levels of management, sectors, sites, suppliers as well as internal and external resources.
  • Contribute to and assist teams in managing risks, issues and blockages surrounding deliveries by proactively anticipating and addressing them and then defining the necessary action plans to facilitate completion.
  • Share global progress reports regularly and transparently (assumptions, deliverables, timelines, costs, quality, risks, issues, major roadblocks, progress and achievement of objectives and benefits) by proposing a consolidated perspective and harmonized solutions demonstrating a mastery of the business as well as a sense of urgency, when appropriate.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for the Information Security program.
  • Work in close collaboration and ensure good communication on a daily basis with: internal partners, managers, scrum masters, performance analysts and IT portfolio managers of the sector.
  • In the context of mandates involving one or more large teams, exercise leadership in order to rally the teams around a common vision and shared objectives.
  • Respect the standards of the IT Portfolio Management (aPMO).

The person we are looking for should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, administration or other relevant education or work experience deemed equivalent.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years experience as an Information Technology Project Manager.
  • Knowledge or interest in the field of information security.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills and proven leadership.
  • Demonstrate outstanding analytical skills and critical thinking skills that are solution oriented and continuous improvement oriented.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of a planning and tracking tool.
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking colleagues and internal partners across Canada.
  • Certifications (assets): PMP, PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) or SAFe RTE
