HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a full range of front-line human resources services to CARQUEST managers and team members and acting as the primary contact for general human resources, recruiting support, benefits and payroll inquiries.
Talent Acquisition
- Support the recruitment process for hourly team members and collaborate with store and distribution center hiring managers to post job requisitions, prescreen, and perform reference checks
- Subject matter expert in the Workday recruiting process, assisting managers as required
- Manage the campus recruitment processes, including liaising with colleges/universities, posting jobs, scheduling interviews and attending campus events
- Support managers and new hires with onboarding activities including presenting biweekly orientation webinar
Benefits Coordination
- Update team member benefits profile
- Manage leave of absence administration including creating packages, issuing benefits premium invoices and monitoring overall process
- Respond to inquiries about disability leave of absence, benefits coverage, RRSP, and stock plan
HR Coordination
- Respond to various HR inquiries, on items such as internal guidelines/policies; team member programs and Workday processes
- Ensures regional compliance consistent with policy guidelines covering health & safety, benefits and employee relations
- Coordinate and distribute service recognition awards
- Serve as day to day liaison between the HR department and outside vendors and individuals
- Complete weekly and monthly ad hoc reports and HR metrics for use in business planning, analysis and forecasting
- Coordinate HR expense administration
- Oversee distribution & organization of HR correspondence
- Effective general HR filing and records management
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required
Experience Required:
-
Bilingual French/English an asset:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources
- Workday experience an asset
- CHRP designation an asset
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- 2+ years' experience handling administrative functions within a Human Resources department or recruiting experience
- Handson human resources experience supporting retails stores and/or distribution centres
- Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization
