About the Position:

The HR Associate provides support to the HR team and assists with various HR functions.

The HR Associate is responsible for maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews, conducting onboarding sessions, and managing various HR projects.

This position is also responsible for assisting in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.

HR Associate role is a support role that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department and supporting the needs of employees.


Human Resources Associate possesses excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Principal Responsibilities:

As an HR Associate, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone screens, preparing new hire paperwork, and assisting with onboarding new employees.
  • Providing support for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and other employee concerns.
  • Assisting with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate employee files and HR databases, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating employee training and development programs, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and providing support to trainers and participants.
  • Generating reports and analyzing HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Conducting research on HR best practices and trends to inform HR policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:


  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in an HR support role.
  • Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices related to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and other HRrelated areas.
  • Solid understanding of HR information systems, including HRIS, applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze data related to HR metrics.
  • Must be detailoriented to ensure accuracy in HR records and documentation.
  • Multitask, organizational skills, keep confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:


  • A certification in Human Resources, such as CHPR is an asset
  • Experience working in a Software as a Service Company
