Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Tenancy Administrator. As a Tenancy Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating some aspects of our property management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive tenant relationships and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of tenancy agreements, from tenant onboarding to termination, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Prepares estimates of labour and material costs, contacts external contractors and tradespeople to obtain quotes and arranges for major repairs and maintenance work
- Maintain a comprehensive database of tenant information, records, and communications.
- Address tenant inquiries and maintanance requests promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues effectively.
- Coordinate property inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of all premises and equipment and report findings in the maintenance management system
- Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach and excellent tenant experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, property maintenance, construction, repair work, or a related field would be an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with tenants landlords and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Full G drivers license with clean driving record
- Postsecondary education (college, university, trade school, etc)
On the job training will be provided in all skill areas as needed.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
