Loading Supervisor to join the bulk transportation team.

JOB SUMMARY
The
Loading supervisor of the bulk team will be responsible for the daily receiving, loading and unloading of bulk raw materials, supervising and mobilizing the team to achieve positive results and meet company objectives in a supportive work environment built around the values of the organization.
In addition, this person will be responsible for the management and distribution of products and developing a comprehensive inventory tracking system to streamline operations, as well as ensuring that raw materials are packaged at all times according to established standards.
YOUR JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Determine requirements prior to the beginning of each shift
- Index the rail cars
- Ensure that quality assurance standards are met or exceeded
- Complete the preloading process
- Supervise the loading process
- Complete the postloading process
- Manage the duties and responsibilities of bulk employees
- Report operational and human resources issues to managers
4 days on and 3 days off the first week, 3 days on and 4 days off the second week, and so on.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- Minimum 1 year experience in supervision/team management;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in material handling and/or transportation;
- Enjoy working outdoors in a dynamic and changing environment;
- Ability to work under pressure and various constraints and in an autonomous manner;
- Be comfortable with computer systems.
