Responsibilities:

Wooden furniture and wooden toy repair and assembly
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical troubleshooting.
Inspect and maintain playground equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
Respond promptly to repair requests from staff and management.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility as needed.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repair projects.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a daycare or similar environment.
Must have a full set of tools.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
