About this team:


The Global Support + Operations Enablement team is a dynamic team of operators focused on driving efficiency and efficacy across the Technology organization.

We set the standards for how technology teams manage and operationalize their services, while driving a dynamic governance system with the goal of minimizing service disruptions and outages.

Further, this team drives performance excellence across the support organization, enabling them to deliver unparalleled service to our end-users.


A day in the life:


  • Responsible for managing overall health of the Global Support & Operations portfolio which includes but is not limited to AOP (Annual Operating Plan) process, financial gogets, fiscal year financial health, delivery practices, replanning activities for the portfolio, facilitation of strategic sessions, etc.
  • Partner with Divisional Portfolio Management team, FP&A and Enterprise Planning & Portfolio Management teams and other xfunctional teams for driving adoption and change management of new frameworks and standards
  • Drive decision making and prioritization across the portfolio in partnership with technology Director / Managers, Program Managers and Portfolio Managers
  • Collaborate with technology managers and program managers across the Functional Leader portfolio to have a holistic view of the Portfolio health
  • Act as a coach and mentor, where applicable, to program/project managers to drive consistent delivery practices in partnership with Portfolio leadership
  • Represent the portfolio at leadership financial reviews as well as in discussions with stakeholders and business partners, providing insights into decision making and trends, including long term budget forecasts and spend decisions in partnership with Divisional Portfolio Managers, where applicable
  • Lead preparation of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews and other review and governance processes
  • Lead functional portfolio wide communications across teams as related to all portfolio activities (AOP, Financials, QBRs, progress on enterprisewide portfolio initiatives, special asks from Divisional Portfolio team, etc.)
  • Work with global leadership in EMEA and APAC to incorporate needs of various teams in region
  • Enable dependency management process and operate as a point of escalation for dependencies coming in and out of portfolio
  • Contribute to the Project/Program/Portfolio Community of Practice

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years in portfolio management role; or equivalent experience in delivering technology programs with portfolio/enterprisewide impact
  • Proven experience in leading the strategic path and delivery of multiple portfolio management
- capabilities such as but not limited to, financial management, capacity management, dependency management, resource management, annual planning process, workforce management etc.

  • Proven experience in financial management processes to be able to manage a large portfolio
  • Proven experience in software development (agile/waterfall) or operational delivery within high growth technology/retail company(s) is required
  • Highlevel understanding of the technology utilized, delivered, and services provided by the tech function
  • Comfort in presenting and communicating to across all levels of the organization
  • Proven effective communication between team's and across portfolio is required
