Overview:
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle
Skills:
- Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting
Salary:
$32.00-$38.00 per hour
