Sales / Business Development Coordinator - Niik Steel

Role Description:

Proactively build a network and forge new connections through direct outreach and engagement. You will independently work with influential industry groups and nonprofit organizations to develop and nurture community partnerships to meet specified objectives.
Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities.
As a Sales/Business Development coordinator you will support the development and implementation of successful community relations and marketing initiatives to develop Niik Steel's presence in our community.
Work with Marketing & Communications Coordinator to develop special publicity events and promotions.
Assist the Marketing & Communications Coordinator with the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, website content, press releases and other material and also may include coordinating special publicity events and promotions.
Support the estimating team by coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure that all elements of the estimating process function efficiently.
Perform administrative tasks to support your role and to support the Niik Steel team in general if required.

Participants must be:

Between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive) at the start of the position
Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Protected Persons as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
Not currently in school;
Self identifies as one or more of the following: Indigenous, youth living with a disability, Woman, Racialized youth or youth who are living in a Northern or Remote community;
Legally entitled to work in Canada; and
Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

Job Type - Full Time - 1 Year Contract
