ID Mechanical Inc. concentrates on new construction that ranges from industrial, commercial, and residential projects. ID Plumbing Services Inc. addresses 24 Hr.

emergency services, maintenance and repairs of existing plumbing systems which includes pipe installations, gas and boiler work, radiant heating systems, and the installation of fixtures and appliances.

With our head office located at Weston Road and Highway 7, we service the greater part of the GTA. We are a Local 46 Union Plumbing Company and are experiencing growth.

We are currently looking to hire experienced plumbers, technicians, and journeymen to join our great team The ID Plumbing Service Inc.

positions may require after business hours and occasional weekends for emergency service calls paid at time and half or double time.

Positions Available:

• Licensed Plumber specialized in Custom Homes
• Gas and Backflow Licensed Plumbing Technicians

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will range from assisting and supporting the manager on day-to-day operations and on assigned jobsites and completing the necessary work that the company has been hired to complete.

Responsibilities and duties include but is not limited to:

• Support manager on day-to-day operations
• Complete assigned work tasks using technology such as an iPad and service software program to electronically complete reports, track work and clock time
• Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets
• Assemble fittings and valves for installation
• Use saws, pipe cutters and heavy equipment such as snakes, as necessary
• Collaborate with subcontractors such as electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
• Follow ID's safety standards, company policies and building codes.
• Write reports documenting the problem and summary of actions taken
• Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts
• Maintain and repair pipes associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial structures
• Manage time and supplies effectively
• Work collaboratively with others and independently as required
• Present yourself professionally, in uniform, on time and with integrity

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License to be able to drive to multiple work locations with a company vehicle.
• Personal Hand Tools

Rate of Pay:
UA Local 46 Union Rates
