The Project Manager - Connect Care, Population and Public Health is a professional role that combines seasoned or significant expertise along with project management skills.

The position is responsible for the inception, design, implementation, and closure of small to medium sized projects or a component of a large project relating to Connect Care, Population and Public Health.

This position will work with a Project Team/Program Manager on large major initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of project management principles and basic PMO tools and methodologies. 3 to 5 years of project coordinator/management experience. Working knowledge SharePoint, MS Project, MS Office suite and Visio. Working knowledge of AHS.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Able to maintain positive relationships as well be self-directed and effective in team environments as required. Basic knowledge of systems principles, as well as theories and concepts of the healthcare business. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Proven accountability in managing large, complex projects.

Proven project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists, manage project plans and escalate issues appropriately).

Strong communication and follow-up skills. Proven issues management skills and experience. Actively and positively negotiate solutions in areas of conflict.


Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Experience planning major events involving diverse clinical and operational stakeholders is an asset. Experience leading medium sized project teams preferred. A bachelor's degree, or diploma plus working towards a project management designation preferred. Healthcare system knowledge and experience considered an asset.
