The Bilingual, Contract Specialist is a key member of our Commercial Excellence team, based in Dorval, QC or Vaughan, ON.

Reporting directly to the Manager, Tenders, you will play a crucial role in managing contractual agreements and negotiations with customers and suppliers.

You will be responsible for the contract lifecycle for accuracy leveraging our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and SalesForce (SFDC) tools, which includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, providing in-depth focus on risk identification, analyse contract compliance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

_ Your Contributions to the Organization:_
The Bilingual Contract Specialist will be responsible for the contracting processes within the healthcare market.

You are proficient and have hands-on experience with CLM systems and will contribute to streamlining contract processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing overall contract management efficiency.

You negotiate favourable terms, mitigate risks, and optimize customer relationships by proactively reviewing and drafting contracts, amendments, and renewals that will contribute to Cardinal Health's financial growth and compliance.

Your ability to navigate complex contractual landscapes will empower us to achieve operational excellence and uphold the highest standards in business dealings.

You are proficient in reviewing and articulating details from contracts and bringing people together to meet a common goal.

  • Oversee the administration of the contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiations, contract implementation, renewal, and amendment requirements in both French and English.
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify risks, opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks, redline and optimize contract performance.
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to facilitate contract execution and implementation.
  • Support the RFP process and coordinate activities to finalize execution of new contracts.
  • Implement robust contract renewal strategies, ensuring timely turnaround times and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in contract management and compliance practices.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Support escalation resolution and response with our internal stakeholders.
  • Support key projects and initiatives as assigned.

_ Qualifications:
_


  • 48 years' contracts / commercial management experience
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) in French and English
  • Proficiency in contract management (concepts, principles, and practices) and analysis (contract data, identifying trends, and datadriven recommendations).
  • Experience in risk identification for review of contractual terms and conditions, redlining and mitigating contractual risks.
  • Ability to draft contracts with strong negotiation skills to gain consensus with various stakeholders and
- leadership team.

  • Detailed oriented, focus on quality of deliverables, strong analytical skills and work with timesensitive confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and fastpaced environment, highly adaptable and able to work independently within a team environment.
