Summary
The Accounts Payable Representative is a member of the Finance Department and reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Key Activities:

Receive and scan vendor invoices.
Process vendor invoices into the system for payment and reconciling statements.
Maximize payment terms with advantageous vendor discounts.
Execute the weekly cheque run and payment process.
Maintain ongoing database of vendors.
Assisting Accounting Projects Manager.

Education and experience required:

High School Diploma supplemented with a firstlevel accredited accounting courses or relevant business experience.
23 years or experience in a similar position.

Competencies:

Ability to prioritize.
Detail oriented and highly organized.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
