What is the role?
Reporting to the Asphalt Plant Manager, the Loader Operator is responsible for running a loader at high production in a portable asphalt plant

Responsibilities will include:

Keeps asphalt plant aggregate and recycle bins constantly fed with front end loader.
Accepts daily aggregate deliveries from suppliers and keeps aggregate piles maintained.
Helps foreperson and plant operator with maintenance and repair of drum mix asphalt plant during break downs.
Helps in perpetuating a safetyfirst work environment.

What do we value?

Minimum three years' experience operating a Loader.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude with fabrication abilities.
Minimum class 5 driver's license with a clean driver abstract.
Available to work away from home for extended periods of time.
Experience running loader at a high production asphalt plant and maintaining a drum mix asphalt plant and frontend loader are an asset.
Experience running a frontend loader on a gravel crusher will also be considered an asset.
