Role Description:


The Spirit of English Program Lead oversees and ensures high standards are maintained during all ongoing development and delivery related to Spirit of English.

This role is located at our Head Quarters in Toronto and is an in-office role.


Personal Qualities:


Skilled Knowledge & Experience:

This individual has experience in the education and/or operations sector.

They have acquired a solid understanding of the unique aspects of the Releasing the Genius approach to learning, as well as its systems and organizational structure.

This individual should also be able to recognize and select the best teaching and learning practices and know how to properly incorporate them into curriculum documents and training programs.

This role requires exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills to help maintain a global standard of excellence within the program.

This role requires comfort and confidence with technology and software.

Specifically, this individual has experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Adobe InDesign), Microsoft Sharepoint and willing to learn other online systems related to education and/or the program.


Education:


Responsibilities:

The Program Lead reports to the Innovations Director and has the following responsibilities:

  • Review all curriculum content and teacher/class related administration documents
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for teaching and curriculum content improvement
  • Researching and working collaboratively to identify potential improvements for the program
  • Creating, conducting and/or analysis of results from parent and student surveys related to the Innovation Classes
  • Manage and/or review online systems for registration, grading, and support
  • Creating and/or ensuring all student/class related administration is completed up to standards and in a timely manner
  • Organizing, planning, and/or running training and information sessions related to all operational and educational processes for Innovation Classes or programs
  • Working with fulfilment to ensure all programrelated materials for distribution are properly updated online and available to order
  • Creating and/or reviewing marketing and other communication content regarding program, as necessary
  • Assessing and documenting the effectiveness of the curriculum content and how it is being taught
  • Ensuring the Innovation testing facility and classrooms are maintained in a secure, professional, and orderly state
  • Keeping inventory and ordering classroom supplies as needed
  • Monitoring students who are on probation, alongside the teacher
  • Contributing to the professional development of the Innovation Department
  • Attending and contributing to the yearly conference
  • Ensure and maintain brand consistency and quality
  • Campus visits and lesson observations
  • Writing and supporting curriculum development, as needed
  • Substitute teaching, as needed
  • Maintain proper operations, supervision, and standards of all classes
  • Assist in campus operations as needed, which may include student screening, supervision, registrations and other tasks
  • First aid as required
  • Other tasks as required
