For over 30 years Bidell Gas Compression has been a North American leader in rotating equipment, including gas compression, power generation, and pumps.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Currently seeking a
full-time Shipper for our shop
Day Shift (6am-2:30pm
) with occasional OT and weekend hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Arrange for freight carrier pickups and complete all necessary paperwork.
Completion of waybills, obtain rate quotes and add to sales orders when required.
Package products in a safe, consistent and professional manner.
Ensure orders are shipped on time, which may require working varying hours (occasional long weekly hours and weekends).
Ensure there are adequate shipping supplies (packaging, pallets, waybills, labels, etc.).
Operate a forklift Class 7and other equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsible for building security inside and outside of the shipping/receiving area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent time management and organizational skills.
International shipping experience is an asset.
Forklift Operator Certification Class 7 and strong operator skills.
Previous Shipping/Receiving experience is an asset.
