- Assemble large grain trailers and dump trailers according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Fit, align, and secure components (frames, axles, hydraulics, electrical, hitches, doors, tarps, etc.).
- Use a variety of hand and power tools (wrenches, impacts, drills, grinders, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and fitting parts.
- Inspect work during and after assembly to ensure accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
- Identify and report defects, missing parts, or design/fit issues and help resolve them.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Previous experience in trailer, equipment, farm machinery, truck body, or similar mechanical assembly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and instructions.
- High attention to detail and dedication to doing the job right the first time.
- Ability to lift, position, and move heavy parts (with assistance or equipment as required).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
