Overview
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the project's procurement and opening the budget for purchasing.

With a high level of interaction with vendors, contractors, suppliers, and preferred brand partners, the incumbent will manage and facilitate the sourcing, ordering, purchasing and payment, shipping, and delivery of products.


What you will be doing?

  • Manage all aspects of the procurement process, from initial documentation preparation to contract and negotiation, in accordance with best practices and guides consistent with the brand.
  • Reviews invoices for products and services related to the department; analyzes variances and takes corrective actions.
  • Monitors all purchases of materials and supplies and builds and maintains solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acts as the primary liaison during contract development and is responsible for negotiating contract terms, conditions, and pricing with internal and external business partners.
  • Responsible for diligent reviews and updates to existing contracts, including risk analysis and mitigation considerations.
  • Prepare a procurement schedule, ensuring that all parties are accountable to meet required deadlines.
  • Provides advice and expertise regarding the procurement process and documents to project managers, internal staff, and external consultants.
  • Analyze contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits, while ensuring compliance with the law.

What are the requirements for this role

  • Education: Diploma or certificate required. A construction, engineering, or business degree/diploma. Two or fouryear degree preferred.
  • Experience: Two years' experience in purchasing or procurement within a construction firm or hospitality venue. Prior experience within a luxury brand is preferred.
  • Advanced attention to detail and risk mitigation skills
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to effectively build and manage relationships at all levels both with internal and external partners.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current construction and procurement laws and regulations.
