    Job Description

    The Heavy Equipment Operator is part of a successful construction team that completes projects according to approved plans, specifications and applicable codes while maintaining high quality and a safe workplace.

    This role involves the safe operation of various pieces of equipment including Dozers, Graders, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steer and Packers.


    Responsibilities

    • Safely operate heavy equipment in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and work plans
    • Perform daily safety checks on equipment
    • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled or required



    Qualifications & Skills Required:



    • A minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment
      or similar industry.
    • Familiarity with interpreting grade stakes,
      clearing land for development,
      digging trenches,
      strip grazing land from natural vegetation
      ,backfill excavations,ditch digging
      .loading materials onto trucks & more .
