MECHANICAL ESTIMATING COORDINATOR - CONSTRUCTION
We are currently seeking a mechanical estimating coordinator to work in our estimating department to aid the estimating department in their daily tasks.
- Receive, process, and distribute tender documents
- Manage and administer tender list and subcontractor communications
- Prepare tender forms and lead sheet for estimator review
- Liaise with other departments (legal, accounting) to address requirements within tender packages
- Assist in preparation of prequalification submittals
- Manage tender schedule and calendar
- Prepare pricing comparisons for equipment and material quotations
- Introduction to plumbing and piping take off from drawings
- Document Control
- Coordinate with general contractors and clients regarding tender queries, RFI's and final submissions
Position requirements:
- Prior experience working in the construction sector
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with construction documents is an asset
- A working knowledge of computers in particular Microsoft Office
- The ability and desire to grow with the company
Job Types:

Salary:
$42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
