Here's what we do

Quick Scrap Metal sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across Ontario and ensure that they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste.

Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again

Here's where you come in
The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Key Responsibilities

Receive emergency and nonemergency calls and record significant information
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Use radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information

Qualifications

Post Secondary Diploma is an asset.
Minimum of two years previous administrative or dispatching experience required.
Strong customer service skills.
Intermediate skills with MS Suite, Word and Excel
Strong accurate data entry skills
Strong English communications skills both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
