What does an Office and Pass Control Administrator in Regina do?

  • Facilitating established security clearance program and administrative functions supporting RAA security team.
  • Support the RAA security department with tasks such as audits, information gathering, video requests, writing SOP s, etc.
  • Prepare, amend, validate, process, and vet requests for passes.
  • Administer Transport Canada Blacklist at access control points in the passenger airport terminal building.
  • Check clearances and provide Transport Canada/case management updates on special files.
  • Maintain Visitor Block Pass Logs.
  • Monitor Temp Restricted Area Identification Card files; print renewed Temp passes for employees.
  • File management. Maintain and update files and records. (Soft and hard copies)
  • Assist in audits by Transport Canada.
  • Key controls including monthly key audits.
  • Order and maintain office supplies. Including uniforms.
  • Maintain lost and found logs.
  • Supply chain audits.
  • Assist with scheduling in GSKED.
  • Assist with invoicing for monthly billing.
  • Understand the security role in the airport.
  • General office and other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education with a Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Office Management or equivalent an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, including a strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels in a professional, positive manner, able to build relationships, and be a team player.
  • Minimum two (2) years of providing direct security control procedures experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with the Transport Canada Aerodrome Security Measures is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Transport Canada Civil Aviation and the Federal Aeronautics Act an asset.
  • Able to compose correspondence and prepare professional documentation, letters, memos, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Highly organized, possessing a solid ability to plan and follow up.
  • Resourceful selfstarter, able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Able to manage a variety of projects and produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
  • Lenel and Avigilon program an asset.
