We value customer satisfaction, teamwork, and a fun, casual work environment. We're excited to welcome a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our Order Fulfillment team for a Part-TIme Summer Contract (3-6 months)
What you'll do:
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders for our retail and wholesale customers (think lab glassware, plasticware, scales, etc.)
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder stock
- Inspect all picked items for quality and ensure they meet exact customer specifications
- Securely pack supplies and label packages for shipping
- Assist with receiving and labeling and storing incoming shipments
- Collaborate with the Sales, Purchasing and Operations team to prepare for incoming shipments and to meet daily shipping deadlines
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, help keep the work area clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in science or a related field (a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer literacy with experience in ecommerce platforms or ERP systems (a bonus)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
