Job Description:

Established in 1955, Rosborough Boats designs and builds semi-custom vessels for both the Recreational Marine market and Professional Marine Industry.

We currently seeking a Purchasing/Inventory Coordinator for our Systems Integration Shop located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:
The Purchasing/Inventory Coordinator will report to the Shop Manager. The successful applicant will purchase, receive and maintain inventory parts and equipment for the Systems Integration Team.

Additional Duties:
Order and manage custom equipment and inventory orders

Research vendors and negotiate pricing; increase supply chain efficiency

Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received

Manage and improve existing inventory software and procedures

Work with counterpart at the Composite Fabrication Shop for intercompany inventory transfers

Schedule supply deliveries; travel to vendor locations for parts pickups

Reconcile inventory data; resolve discrepancies between physical count and software records

Requirements:
Class 5 Drivers Licence; clean Driver's Abstract

Possess excellent time management and organizational skills

Great attention to detail:
accuracy is a must

Experience with a detailed ERP software system

Can work independently or as part of a team

Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50lbs

Assets / Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating a forklift

Familiar with marine industry as well as parts, tool, etc.

Previous background in logistics

WHMIS training

Position starts at $18.50/hr. Depending on experience, negotiation is possible.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm Friday 7:30am to 12:00pm occasional overtime is required.
