We are currently recruiting a Rigger/ Relief Crane Operator to assist with fast-paced, challenging projects that are shaping the Vancouver skyline
Wage
- $35-45 hourly. Depending on experience, negotiable.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate crane to lift, move or place construction equipment and materials
- Follow safe work procedures to assist the tower crane operator with lifting, lowering, or moving materials and loads.
- Understand lifting and load bearing capacities of the tower crane.
- Securing loads with suitable lifting equipment.
- Communicate with operator via twoway radio and/or hand signals.
- Signal and direct trucks on site for loading and offloading.
- Inspecting rigging equipment.
- Rig in decks and fly tables.
- Inspect crane and calculate capacities
- Fly tables
- Assemble and dismantle
- Perform repairs and maintenance
Working Conditions
- Overtime after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Double time after 12 hours per day
- Overtime and work on weekends as required
- Two paid 15 minutes breaks and one 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunch break per day
- Working at heights

- Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit
Requirements:
- 36 years experience operating tower cranes
- 24 years of tower crane rigging experience
- Journeyman Tower Crane Operator Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Rigging ticket considered an asset
- Fall Protection
