    Job Summary

    As the 311 Intern, you will work closely with our Technical Specialists, Supervisors and the entire 311 team to execute administrative tasks and ensure great customer service in a contact centre environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in contributing their technical skills in Business Administration, Data Analysis and Reporting. Through this internship, you will be developing skills required for working at any customer service-driven organization, especially within a technical discipline

    Duties and Responsibilities

    What you'll do:

    • Interns will have an opportunity to contribute in a variety of duties such as creating reports and dashboard and administrative tasks
    • Responsible for assisting Staff with short-term projects to meet business requirements
    • Other duties as assigned by the manager

    Skills and Qualifications

    Must Haves:

    • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution as a full-time student, and returning to full-time studies in September 2024.
    • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Business Management or a related filed
    • Reliable; ability to work from home independently and unsupervised
    • Excellent communication skills and foundational understanding of customer service
    • Customer Service experience
    • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
    • Ability to design meaningful and visually appealing reports curated to the varying business requirements of many client groups

    Nice to Have but not mandatory:

    • Experience in Data Analytics and Visualization using SQL, Power BI and Excel
    • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, DAX, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Experience in effective Data Modelling
