About the Role
This role is part-time and supports classroom leadership and child transportation ensuring safety continuity and professionalism across the children's full day.The role functions as Primary Educator in the classroom leading routines learning flow emotional safety It also responsible for calm lawful safe child transportation including vehicle inspections documentation When assigned this role may also support Acting Assistant Director duties to maintain operational continuity This position ideal for experienced ECEs seeking consistent part-time work with responsibility pathway into permanent or leadership roles
- Classroom Leadership – Primary Educator Act as Primary Educator in compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing Lead routines transitions age-appropriate learning Maintain calm safe emotionally supportive environments Guide assist staff
- Transportation Vehicle Safety Transport children safely comply Alberta Traffic Safety Act Lead boarding deboarding procedures complete required headcounts Verify wellbeing transit Complete pre-post-trip vehicle inspections Report safety issues do not operate unsafe vehicles Maintain logs checklists incident records/li>
