Job Description SummaryThis position is responsible to ensure that customer's on-site dental equipment is operating properly. Work mainly focuses on troubleshooting and repairing of equipment, as well as supporting the installation of equipment and the sales of maintenance contracts.
Job DescriptionMaintain a high level of client service by - Responding promptly to service requests
- Following through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues
- Listening to customer issues
- Communicating client service information with the Sales Representatives and the Service Coordinators
- Completing work orders
- Maintaining appropriate tools, supplies and parts within vehicleMaintain client equipment by
- Documenting equipment issues and completed repairs
- Diagnosing equipment issues and arranging for required parts, supplies or tools
- Communicating equipment issues and recommended repairs to the customers
- Adjusting, repairing or calibrating equipment based on manufacturer's specifications
- Following through on maintenance contractsSupports new equipment installations by
- Providing follow up support within committed timelines
- Verifying equipment is set to manufacturer's specifications
- Selling maintenance contractsMaintain a safe and respectful environment by
- Reporting incidents, injuries or near misses
- Conducting oneself in accordance with Sinclair's policies
- Participating in ongoing educational programs
- Dental Equipment Manufacturer certification training a huge asset
- Certification, Diploma or Degree in mechanical, electrical, small machine repair etc.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience repairing equipment
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or plumbingSkills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Able to prioritize and organize work schedule with limited supervision
