Description

Seven Continents is hiring for a full-time permanent Bill of Materials and Purchasing Agent. Regular hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime required.

Located near 401/Keele, we are accessible by car with ample parking or by TTC (nearest station is Wilson subway station).

Note:
Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs.

Knowledge and Skills:

Data Entry
Microsoft Windows, Excel
Spire Systems (nice to have)
Purchasing and receiving experience is an asset

Primary Responsibilities

Work with engineering, purchasing and production to ensure accurate Bill Of Materials is recorded for manufactured items in Spire
Create production orders with bill of materials and receive orders into finished goods inventory
Ensure raw material and finished goods inventory is up to date and accurate

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create purchase orders
Communicate with vendors and stakeholders on costs, availability, lead times and status of services and materials
Monitor and receive stock
