Housekeeping Supervisor - Kamloops, Canada - Scott's Inn and Suites

Description

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and backofhouse spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness meets or exceeds established standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on Scott's Inn policies, procedures, and cleaning standards
• Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Create and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
• Enforce safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hazardfree environment
• Maintain open and effective communication with other departments, especially the front desk and maintenance teams.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Respond promptly to guests' requests and concerns related to housekeeping services
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or Inn, leadership experience considered an asset
• Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members
• Able to work in a fastpaced environment and demonstrate the ability to multitask
• Demonstrates organization and multitasking abilities
• Possess good attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
• Must be willing to work in Kamloops, BC
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
