Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as the Front of House Supervisor at Fitness Connection.

As the Front of House Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our members from the moment they enter our facility.

You will lead a team of receptionists and work collaboratively with various departments to uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:


Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and motivate the front desk team to provide excellent customer service.
Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
Schedule and coordinate front desk staff shifts.


Customer Service:

Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Resolve member concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively.
Ensure that the front desk is always staffed during operating hours.


Operational Efficiency:

Oversee daily operations at the front desk, including check-ins, member registrations, and inquiries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and communication.


Membership Sales Support:

Assist with membership sales by providing information and tours to potential members.
Work closely with the sales team to achieve membership targets.


Technology and Systems:

Proficiently use and manage our front desk software and other relevant systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to front desk operations.


Compliance:

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Stay informed about fitness industry trends and updates.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a fitness or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software.

Salary:
$18.00 per hour


Expected hours:
per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3G7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
