The Manager, Executive Operations plays a pivotal role in the overall function of the Ministry of Education.

The Manager coordinates corporate services in support of the Deputy Minister's Office and the Executive team to maintain an effective, efficient and co-operative relationship between the ministry and the Minister's Office.


Job Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a senior administrative role within an Executive Office (Deputy Minister's Office, Assistant Deputy Minister's Office, or equivalent).
  • Experience with ministry correspondence and Freedom of Information requests.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience supervising staff.

About this Position:

This position is excluded from union membership.
An eligibility list may be established.
Work outside of regular business hours may be required to meet operational requirements.
