_MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -_

  • Assist Quality Manager in vendor quality audits (as required), evaluate vendor performance indicators, and provide feedback to vendors on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct, and document results of spontaneous product and production activity audits, initiate implementation of preventative and corrective action measures, and follow up on effectiveness.
  • Complete quality report processing and expediting as per ISO standards.
  • Assist in the development of complete and thorough product inspection and test procedures.
  • Coordinate and maintain the equipment calibration system, as required.
  • Coordinate acrtivities associated with the CMM, including programing and maintenance, as required.
  • Participate in the continuous collation of data for inclusion in the Quarterly Quality Assurance Report.
  • Other duties as assigned.

_REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -_


Formal education in Quality Assurance processes and procedures (from a recognized educational institution) or Mechanical Eng designation is preferred, and thorough knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 protocols are required, combined with a minimum four years related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products considered an asset.

$22.00-$25.00 per hour
