- Provide diverse services including x-rays, chronic disease management, sports physicals, and immunizations.
- Be part of a passionate team dedicated to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and fun.
- Active Alaska Nurse Practitioner license
- Active BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
- 3-5 years of relevant family practice and urgent care experience
- Provide primary care, including examinations, injury and illness management, and referrals.
- Order, perform, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medication and therapies within scope.
- Perform medical procedures as appropriate.
- Develop age- and culturally-appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage patient care, monitor treatment, and adjust as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Educate patients and provide educational materials.
- Document in electronic medical records (Athena).
- Delegate care activities to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physician team members.
- Become DOT certified within 3 months of hire.
