Additional skills that will be considered:

Book of business for open deck freight;
Negotiation and logistics planning skills;
Good knowledge and practical daily utilization of HOS;

Daily duties:

Lead the negotiation of tariffs and rates with the brokers or customers to obtain competitive rates;
Conduct load picks up, transit, and delivery by following DOT and company high safety standards;
Update and input equipment and loadrelated information in dispatch software, google drive, and loading board;
Oversee and control cargo loading and securement;
Build and maintain relationships with freight brokers and customers;
Take on the responsibility of booking the most efficient loads to remain cost/profit effective as a company;
Follow company policies and procedures;
Resolve freightrelated problems both internal and external with brokers/shippers to increase customer satisfaction;
Communicate with coworkers, to schedule a truck at the location in case of a breakdown;

Salary:

$18.00-$28.00 per hour
